I have to say I was impressed with these throw pillow covers. I knew they were Art (artificial) Silk but was slightly disappointed they didn’t have more of a slick silk texture. That said, I’m completely satisfied with this purchase after I took forever to decide on what size I needed. I wanted to leave the current covers on since they came with my furniture and just slip these over. Feathers would constantly stick us and I wanted to add some contrasting color. I was pleased with the burgundy color and they were easy to put over my pillows. I plan to order the cream color as soon as I test that my kitty doesn’t “easily” leave fur on them. That’s why I wanted them to be slick. I should know soon as she’s lying again them now. These were a great price. You definitely couldn’t get pure silk for this price and you wouldn’t be able to put them in the washer and dryer either. I am overall impressed with the quality too. To help those trying to decide on size, le me tell you how I did it after reading a LOT. I wanted to have a slight “give” to be able to “slouch” them. I flattened the pillow as much as possible (with the current cover on since I was leaving it on). Then I measured at the bottom (and top) and rounded to the next whole inch. That worked perfect for me.
